In 2002, the team was made part of the FC Barcelona futbol organization as
the FC Barcelona Dragons. Despite this merge, the franchise's fan support decreased and the team began to
struggle financially. The Dragons played their final season in 2003, the Dragons were discontinued and they were
replaced in the league by the Cologne Centurions.
